
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Glen Oaks Community College Fitness/Wellness Center is to provide a safe and comfortable environment where all participants can work toward meeting their individual fitness and wellness goals. The Fitness/Wellness Center provides a place for positive social interaction, superior quality instruction, as well as a stress free environment where participants can receive necessary assistance in striving to develop into a more health conscious, wellness driven individual.
Membership Fees
You don't have to be a student at Glen Oaks to use the Fitness/Wellness Center. This is a great facility where you can get the exercise you want as well as meet new people.

Physical Education Courses
The Glen Oaks Community College Fitness/Wellness Center is a fitness facility designed to meet the needs of the student body as well as those of the community. The Center offers cardiovascular and weight-training equipment as well as fitness and health education classes. Residents of the area (16 years and older) may use the center by paying the fees outlined above. Students may use the center by registering for classes: NSH 100, 104, 105, 106 or 107, or by paying the community fees. Dates of operation correspond with the college's academic schedule. The times are designed to be convenient for both students and community patrons. (Note: The College seeks to provide equal opportunity and affirmative action for everyone).

Fitness/Wellness Orientations
Fitness/Wellness Students for NSH 100, 104, 105, 106 or 107 classes must attend an orientation
